He then helped us find our third rental when we went out to the West Island after leaving Saint-Leonard. At this point another 4 years went by and we finally decided we were ready to buy.For sever months Che found us listings, gave his advice and feedback. Looked into everything we asked him to. But most importantly never once did we feel pressured or pushed in any direction. Whether the house was 800k or 500k, Che was completely unbiased and extremely helpful and attentive.We needed help with finding our mortgage, Che gave us several options and made introductions. We needed an inspection, same he gave us several recommendations, same thing for the notary. His responsiveness combined with a courteous, no pressure approach was greatly appreciated. I hired Che to help me find a starter home for my daughter after having had a terrible experience with a previous agent (with whom we quickly decided to part ways due to some questionable business practices). This previous agent kept insisting that we wouldn't be able to find much in our price range. The vast majority of the listings she did send us either did not match our general specifications or were not in the areas that we desired (I suspect she only steered us toward listings which benefitted her more). Regardless, those listings did not meet our needs. In total contrast, literally within an hour of hiring Che, he sent us numerous listings which more or less matched exactly what we were looking for! To say that Che works at a fast pace would be an understatement. My communications with him (texts, emails, phone calls), even after normal business hours and on weekends, were always returned promptly (usually with his trademark customary reply of "I'm on it"). As they say, actions speak louder than words. He went above and beyond to accommodate my daughter's unusual work hours when scheduling viewings (which he would always setup very quickly since he knows the early bird gets the worm). Che kept us apprised at all times, guiding us throughout the entire process from start to finish with excellent advice and tips, making the whole experience fun and stress-free. Thanks to him, my daughter very quickly found a beautiful place in a great location which she's proud to call home. Thanks again Che...your help and guidance were invaluable. This was all new to us, as first-time buyers, and Ché was patient enough with us to explain the process, the terminology, the limitations, the deadlines, and the paperwork. It was a crash-course in homeownership for us and Ché made it simpler and less daunting. We questioned whether we needed an agent to buy, but through the experience with Ché, we no longer doubted this - it helps to demystify all the red tape and paperwork that we just couldn't do on our own. Any questions we had, Ché was QUICK to respond with a fair, honest, informative answer! At NO TIME did we feel pressured, or cheated, or that he was using "antiquated sales tactics" - he was very straightforward and honest about the market, the properties that we viewed, and our options. It was COVID times, so viewings were limited and quick, and options were disappearing and being over-bid on - it's a result of the environment today, there was very low inventory on market, and Ché provided what he could. My only comment would be that the options provided were not always meeting our ideal criteria, but of course, this was not Ché's fault, it was and is the market at the time, so we used a hybrid approach of searching on our own for properties and running it through Ché (which he was happy to do) as well as looking at the options he sent. I absolutely LOVE that experience he gave with all the documentation and signatures being sent and done online/ virtually/electronically - a great help and safety precaution in COVID times. All-in-all a perfect experience, we will definitely engage him again when we next decide to sell or buy.
